A few miles from the pipeline we arrived at the El Dorado Gold Mine.

We were treated to a small scale railroad tour of an old mining camp setup.

They showed us how panning for gold was done.

We were all given gold ore dirt and we panned for our gold.
-
After panning we had our 'gold flakes' weighed and valued.

Around 5:45 PM we left the El Dorado Gold Mine back towards Fairbanks.
